Zappitella-Delboni Rematch Headlines Invicta FC 45
The rematch months in the making will kick off 2022 for Invicta FC.
This past May Alesha Zappitella successfully defended the Invicta FC Atomweight title for the first time by the skin of her teeth getting the split decision nod over Jessica Delboni. The following month Delboni demanded a spot in the Phoenix Tournament. Proving she was the rightful number one contender defeating Tabatha Ann Watkins, Marisa Messer-Belenchia, & Lindsey VanZandt in a single night.
The rivalry will continue in the main event of Invicta FC 45 as Alesha “Half Pint” Zappitella again defends against Brazil’s Jessica Delboni. The event will take place from Invicta FC’s homebase Memorial Hall in Kanas City and on Invicta’s new night, Wednesday January 12th.
The card will also feature UFC vets Lauren Mueller & Emily Whitmire, along with LFA alum Hailey Cowan.
