Argeta vs. Santos tops LFA Midwest return
A Bantamweight battle between unbeaten prospects will headlined LFA’s first trip to Indiana.
LFA 123 is set for Friday February 4th at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond Indiana. The nights main event will see Dan “The Determined” Argueta against Mairon “A Lenda” Santos.
Argueta a member of the TUF 29 cast returns to his home state with a 6-0 record, including three wins in the LFA. At LFA 65 “The Determined” won his pro debut knocking out Max Rojas in the first round. At LFA 90 Argueta used his wrestling to defeat Jackson Filho on the scorecards. And this past October the Cub Swanson protégé used an armbar to force Rodney Mondala to tap.
Santos is a 21-year-old from Rio De Janeiro, who racked up 10 wins in his first 12 months of being a professional. The Brazilian phenom has left a path of destruction in his wake scoring seven wins by knockout including stopping Julio Pereira with a body shot to win the Shooto featherweight title.
