Lightweight Title Bout set for UFC 274
Both the UFC Light-heavyweight & Lightweight world title are scheduled to be on the line at May’s UFC 274.
Former WSOF champion Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje will be next to challenge Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira for his Lightweight title. Gaethje made his name in MMA dragging opponents in dog fights and tearing them apart. After twice getting bite by the fire, he was playing with Gaethje revamped his style winning five of his last six fights including coming out on top of Michael Chandler in the 2021 fight of the year. Oliveria is one MMA greatest stories of career rejuvanation. From 10-8 in the UFC to a 10-fight win streak and one successful title defense already accounted for.
It was looking like the Brazilian champions would be fighting on home soil but that is not the case and while the location has not been announced it most liker UFC 274 will happen in the United States.
