Gracie vs. Yamauchi set for August
A battle between talented BJJ practitioners is set to headline Bellator 284.
Number five ranked Welterweight contender Neiman Gracie will take on the man with the most submission wins in the promotions history Goiti Yamauchi.
Bellator 284 will be August 12th at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls South Dakota.
Gracie has nine of his eleven wins by submission including a rear naked choke of Ed Ruth & a heel hook of Jon Fitch. Yamauchi has twenty one of his twenty seven wins by submission including wins over Saad Awad, Daron Cruickshank, & Levan Chokheli.
In the co-main event former interim Heavyweight champion Valentin Moldavsky will face number five ranked unbeaten Steve Mowry.
Former Flyweight champion Iliam-Lei Macfarlane looks to end a two fight skid when she faces Brazil’s Bruna Ellen. Ellen has all four of her Bellator wins by decision.
