UFC Austin Results, Emmett Edges out Kattar
The Moody Center in Austin Texas hosts UFC Fight Night. The 13-fight card is headlined by a top ten Featherweight showdown.
The main event will see number four ranked Calvin Kattar against number seven ranked Josh Emmett. Massachusetts’s Kattar technical striker known for working behind his jab and Boxing combinations. Emmett is on a four-fight win streak that includes knockout of Michael Johnson & Mirsad Bektic. The Team Alpha Male fighter with huge knockout power in his hands and a credentialed wrestling pedigree.
The originally scheduled co-main event of Joe Lauzon versus Donald Cerrone was cancelled for the second time This time it was Lauzon who due to health issues withdraw from the bout. The new co-main event will see Kevin “Trailblazer” Holland squaring off with Tim “The Dirty Bird” Means. Holl is coming off a successful debut at Welterweight and also reportedly stopped a perfume thief prior to the event. Means is a counter striker and high school wrestling coach on a three-fight win streak.
