Mariscal vs Faria on the Marquee for LFA 153
A meeting between Featherweight dynamos is set to headline LFA 153 in the Hoosier State.
LFA 153 takes place Friday, February 17th at The Horseshoe Casino Hammond in Hammond, Indiana, just outside of Chicago. The main event will see Chicago’s, Jose Mariscal against Brazilian sledgehammer Guilherme Faria.
Jose Mariscal will be competing in the LFA for the fourth time. Impressively all of his fights for the promotion have either been co or main events. “Chepe” returns to the LFA off knockout wins in Cage Warriors & Combate Global.
Guilherme Faria career is a story of perseverance. The native of São Paulo stormed back from an 0-3 start win the XFC International Featherweight title. Faria came into his LFA debut off a Decwin over UFC vet Daron Cruikshank. The 31-year-old continued to roll at LFA 125, scoring his tenth win by knockout defeating Zach Zane.
