Interim Bantamweight Title Fight Headlines LFA’s 3rd Visit to New York
Legacy Fighting Alliance is returning to the Empire State for the third time in March to crown an interim Bantamweight champion.
The main event will see Brazil’s Rafael do Nascimento & Ohio’s Jerrell Hodge vying to become the 9th 135 lbs. champion in the promotion’s history. LFA 155 is set for Friday, March 24th at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, New York.
Nascimento now resides in Los Angles, California training under Lyoto & Chinzo the Machida Brothers. The fighter nicknamed “Mulisha” is on a four-fight wins streak. In 2022 Nascimento took the LFA by storm submitting Marcus McGhee at LFA 135 & knocking out Justin Wetzell at LFA 147.
Hodge will come into his LFA debut having won his last four MMA fights. Hungry to stay active “Thuderkat” is also active as a Pugilist, Boxing four times in the last two years. Hodge is more than just a Boxer having wins by rear naked choke, knee bar, and from ground strikes on his resume.
