Tsarukyan-Moicano set for fight night headliner
The UFC has announced a Lightweight bout between Promising contenders Arman Tsarukyan & Renato Miocano will have headlining honors in April.
The 5-round affair will headline a April 29th Fight Night from the UFC Apex. The currently confirmed line up can be found at the bottom of the page.
Tsarukyan started his 2022 by stopping Joel Alvarez with strikes on the ground. The win a fifth in a row earned a “Ahalkalakets” his first UFC main event. While the Armenian born fighter came up a short against Mateusz Gamrot. The lessons learned were evident as the number eight ranked Lightweight got back in the win column ruining Damir Isnagulov’s perfect record.
Moicano has been with the UFC since 2017 signing with the promotion as a Featherweight going 5-3 in the division. In 2020 the Brazilian decided to move up to Lightweight. The results have seen the 33-year-old record rear naked choke victories over Damir Hadzovic, Jai Herbert, Alexander Hernandez, & Brad Riddell or to earn the number 13 spot in the rankings.
