Holm to Headlined Summer UFC Fight Night
“The Preacher’s Daughter” will be back in the main event spotlight this summer at the Apex.
The former multiple time Boxing world champion and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion is set for a five-round affair with number 10 Ranked Myra Bueno Silva. The number 3 ranked Holm (15-6) is coming off a one-sided decision win over former trading partner, Yana Santos. The win was a rebound from Holm coming off a controversial decision loss to Ketlen Vieira. The JacksonWink product has won three of her last four fights all against ranked competitors.
Bueno Silva joined the UFC in 2018 after an impressive submission win on the Contenders Series. Since a 2-2-1 start the 31-year-old has found her stride ripping off three straight wins. The Brazilian fighter started off for 2022 with a unanimous decision win over Yanan Wu and ended it by submitting Stephanie Egger. This year started out on spectacular fashion as Bueno Silva stop Selena Lansburgh for a second round TKO in February.
The July 15 UFC fight night will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas Nevada.
The co-main event will see former Lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos moving up to Welterweight for a battle with number 10 ranked Vicente Luque.
