Storley vs. Ward Headlines Bellator 298
A high stakes welterweight showdown will headline Bellator’s return to “The Land of Plenty”.
The main event will see former interim welterweight champion, number 1 ranked contender Logan Storley facing off with number 8 ranked “Irish” Brennan Ward. Storley, a highly credentialed wrestler has won three of his last four fights, including a Decision win over Michael Page to become the Bellator interim welterweight champion. Ward is in the midst of an incredible story of overcoming addiction to regain his career. Clearheaded and focused ward has won three-fights in a row all by knockout.
The co-main event is a top five heavyweight battle as former interim champ, number 2 ranked Valentin Moldavsky tangles with number 3 ranked Steve Mowry. This will be a rematch from Bellator 284 in august where their bout was cut short due to an accidental eye poke.
The cards feature fight will see a top ten middleweight contest with number 4 ranked unbeaten Dalton Rosa taking on number 6 ranked former CFFC champion Aaron Jeffery.
Bellator 298 is set for August 11th at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls South Dakota.
