In the main event Alexa Grasso defends her 125 lbs. title against the women she dethroned in March, the had been long reigning queen of the division. Grasso took the back of Shevchenko in the final minute of the fourth round at UFC 285 sinking in a submission to pulling off a huge comeback and one the years biggest upsets. Grasso’s fifth consecutive win penned her into history as the first female Mexican champion in UFC history. The loss ended a streak of nine straight wins in the division including seven title defenses.
Top fifteen ranked Welterweight will battle in the co-main event as number thirteen ranked Kevin Holland squares off against number fourteen Jack Della Maddalena. Texas’s “Trailblazer” is coming off a pair of statement making performances knocking out Santiago Ponzinibbio & submitting Michael Chiesa. Australia’s “JDM” is a perfect 6-0 inside the octagon including four first round knockouts.
In the featured fight the youngest fighter on the ZUFC roster, talented grappler Raul Rosas Jr. looks to rebound from his first career setback. Plus, number fourteen ranked women’s Flyweight Tracy Cortez faces number fifteen ranked Jasmine Jasudavicus.
