LFA 172 Results, Chapolin takes Title from Davis
The Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona hosts LFA 172 featuring a showdown for the LFA Flyweight title. Legacy Fighting Alliance is back in the Valley of the Sun for a 10-fight card that will see Cody Davis defending the LFA Flyweight title against Brazil’s Eduardo Henrique.
California’s Davis has won three in a row all in the LFA and all finishes. Davis secured consecutive submissions a rear naked choke took care of Alvaro Prado, while it was an arm-triangle that submitted Joseph Camacho. In June Davis won the championship by stopping Igor Siqueira with ground and pound. Sao Paulo’s Henrique has finishes in eight of his eleven wins. The 27-year-old nicknamed “Chapolin” collected his first win in the LFA in June defeating Leandro Soares by unanimous decision.
