JW Fight Night 6 Quick Results
The JacksonWink Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico hosted JW Fight Night 6. A seven-fight card featuring amateurs from across the state and a Light-Heavyweight main event.
The nights headliner was the Light-Heavyweight debut of three time Heavyweight champion Cody “The Bullet Train” East against short notice opponent Josh Weston.
The Bullet Train only made one stop and it came in the first round. Albuquerque’s East attacked Weston’s lead leg before sticking his toes in the St. Louis fighters gut. A lightning fast jab-cross put a Weston down, ground strikes securing the first round finish.
East’s win earned Knockout of the Night honors. Kabody Bryson’s guillotine choke takes the Submission of the Night and Leo Bitsui vs Erie Flores took Fight of the Night.
