BMF Title Defense Booked for UFC 300
The internet has been full of talk about the UFC doing something special for UFC 300 to rival UFC 200 and UFC 100. The second title fight added to the card is definitely one of those off the board eye opening matchups.
Dana White announced over social media on that BMF Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje will defend against former Featherweight champion Max Holloway. This past July at UFC 291 Gaethje scored his 19th win by knockout as a head kick of Dustin Poirier earned him the BKFC title. Four weeks later Max Holloway landed a right hook that retired Chang Sung Jung in front of his countryman in South Korea.
And fight fans can now rest easy as Jim Miller has been booked for the card and will take on Bobby Green. It’ll be Miller’s 44th time stepping inside the octagon for the man who fought at UFC 100 & UFC 200. In 2023 weeks saw Bobby Green have some big moments. He submitted Tony Ferguson and knocked out Grand Dawson in his first UFC main event.
UFC 300 is scheduled for April 13th at the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
