Arellano vs. Miller Headlines FightWorld MMA 33
FightWorld will be back at the Revel Entertainment Center on Saturday March 30th for the biggest show since its relaunch.
The main event of the six-fight pro card is a meeting between the top two welterweight prospects in the southwest as Fit NHB’s Ty Miller will face Elite Kickboxing’s Travis Arellano. Miller won his pro debut in the FightWorld cage by first round knockout and followed it up with a pair of decision wins under the CFFC banner. The Albuquerque fighter is coming off a first round knockout win in professional boxing debut. El Paso’s Arellano won his pro debut at LFA 164 by first round knockout and is coming off a decision win over Sterling Peak at FightWorld MMA 31.
The co-main event is a rematch from the 2017 Caged Minds amateur fight of the year as Nikko Nathan & Sterling Peak will meet again. Since the amateur encounter both fighters have gone on to turn professional in both Boxing & MMA. Both guys can be called brawlers who love to exchange in the pocket and bring the war fans crave.
Ozzy Chavez is coming off back-to-back wins including a TKO at FightWorld MMA 29, and he’ll serve as the welcoming party to the pro ranks for Las Cruces’s Jacobo Martos. Coming off a successful pro debut at RUF 56 Jesse Moorhouse will take on Taekwondo Black Belt Richard Jennings. Also, Iyean Varela and Julian Perez will be making their pro debuts.
The amateur card is topped a meeting between standout collegiate athletes as former football player Jordan Tennyson from the JacksonWink Academy will square off with James Romero a tremendous wrestler from Fit NHB. Plus, Borg MMA’s Andrew Alvara is facing Elite Kickboxing’s Victor Santillan III, the two combine for eight wins & seven finishes. The amateur card is made up of fighters representing such gyms as Fit NHB, JacksonWink MMA, Sandoval Fight Systems, Borg MMA, Briggs MMA, Santa Fe BJJ, Perez Fighting Systems, On Point Striking, Elite Kickboxing, Zen Martial Arts, and others.
