Heavyweights Headline March 2nd Fight Night at Apex
A spot in the Heavyweight top 15 rankings will be on the line March 2nd in Sin City.
The headliner of the March 2nd UFC Fight Night at the Apex in Las Vegas is a heavyweight showdown as pitting number twelve ranked Jairzinho Rozenstruik against unbeaten Shamil Gaziev. Rozenstruik is knockout artist of the highest caliber with 12 of his 13 wins coming by turning the lights outs. Not to mentioned “Bigi Boy” doesn’t like to waste time with nine wins in the first round. Bahrain’s Gaziev earned his UFC contract with first round submission win on the Contender Series. In his official debut at UFC 296 Gaziev overwhelmed Martin Buday for a second round TKO win.
The co-main event will see former title challenger number seven ranked Alex Perez squaring off with unbeaten number eight ranked Muhammad Mokaev. Also, in a ranked Flyweight battle number nine Matt Schell faces number 12, Australian Steve Erceg. Unbeaten number 13 ranked Umar Nurmagomedov will welcome Kazakhstan’s Bekzat Almakhan to the octagon.
