DCCW Leap Year Lockup Preview
An event like this could only happen once every four years. Duke City Championship Wrestling Leap Year Lockup is this Thursday night at the El Rey Theater in downtown Albuquerque.
The hatred between nemesis’s Tyler Copeland & “Two Scoops” Tommy Test has reached a level that is nearly uncontrollable. Duke City Championship Wrestling Heavyweight champion Thunder has been on a tear since winning the title. Next up to try and end his reign of evil will be a former ally, a true old west gunslinger Mosh Pit Mike.
The Queen of Flower power Eliza Haze has taken on all comers and now she’ll serve as the welcoming committee for international superstar Natalia Markova. Urban survival expert Hobo Hank will also have his hands full as he battles an NWA vet, the Greek God looking, Bryan Idol. The forged out of iron and stone “Warhammer” Lilith Grimm battles Adrian Myscira a ghost from her past looking to blaze a new trail of glory.
A late change of opponent will see Happy the Clown making the acquaintance of a new playmate, but Lumberjack Callum McManley might have other ideas for how he likes to spend his free time. In a three-way dance of doom the menacing Jerry Vadetta, faces treacherous magician Valak Vile, and renegade Chris Watson.
In a bit of unfinished business Turbo Tony clashes with Chuey Martinez. After their first encounter we can all be sure that Tony is ready to do something to take Chuey’s and the crowd’s breath away. Plus, the most eccentric man in the Land of Enchantment, Fonzi faces the silent assassin, Enrique Del Gato.
