Stephen Cervantes takes Short Notice Title Fight at CES 37 -

Luttrell/Yee fighter Stephen Cervantes (6-1) has been given a golden opportunity.

Cervantes normally fights at 135 lbs. but for his 2^nd straight short notice fight he’ll be competing at 145 lbs, against CES staple Matt “The Mangler” Bessette (19-7), with the vacant CES Featherweight title up for grabs. Cervantes will be raplacing an injured Pedro Gonzalez.

Cervantes started his pro run with 6 straight wins, including a decision over Bellator vet Shawn Bunch. Now Cervantes will be looking to rebound from his first career loss, having been submitted by Kyle Reyes at Tachi Place Fights 27.
