Johnson vs. Nogueira 1st Fight added to UFC on Fox 12
UFC on Fox 12 will take place on July 26 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California; and the first bout announced for the event is in the Light Heavyweight division with Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (17-4) against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (21-5).
UFC number 5 ranked Light Heavyweight, Anthony Johnson has won 7 fights in a row including a on short notice, return to the octagon, unanimous decision win over then number 4 ranked Phil Davis.
Nogueira has won his last 2 fights defeating Tito Ortiz (TKO) and Rashad Evans (UD), but the win over Evans came in February of 2013. “Lil Nog” has been sidelined since that UFC 156 win, due to multiple injuries.
