Bellator 98 Weigh-in Result & Last Minute Changes
On Saturday, September 7th, Bellator 98 kicks off their 9th season at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The main event will see Brett Cooper challenge Alexander “Storm” Shelmenko for the Bellator Middleweight title. Last thing to do to make it all official is hit the scales.
Both Joe Warren and Bellator Middleweight tournament competitor Andreas Spang have been deemed by Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation, to be medically unable to compete at Bellator 98. Joe Warrens vs. Nick Kirk has been totally canceled. Spang has been replaced by Brennan Ward who has been moved up from the prelims to compete in a Middleweight Tournament Quarterfinal bout against Justin Torrey.
