Matthew Griego- keeping himself busy & going a day at a time
Our world has changed quite drastically over the course of the last two months. At the beginning of March Boxing Fresquez Productions presented March Badness at Isleta Casino. A monumental moment in Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego’s young career as he won an ABF title, his first professional championship. Griego joins me to talk about what his plans where after winning the title and what hes been doing during the pandemic. We touch on how much time “Diamond Boy” would need to be ready for a fight, how much training hes been doing, and if he’d be willing to fight in an empty arena. Plus is there anyone he has his eye on to compete against. Outside out the Boxing world, Griego has a day job as a barber and we also touch on what’s going on with City Barber Shop.
