Prime Time Promotions Mass Ascension: Battle in the 505 debut Ready for Launch

Prime Time Promotions makes its debut in Albuquerque with Mass Ascension: Battle in the 505, bringing a mix of established veterans, undefeated prospects and local rivalries to the New Mexico fight scene.

The card features seven bouts, including the return of an Albuquerque favorite, a long-awaited rematch and several matchups designed to test some of the state’s emerging talent.

Diamond Boy Returns

Unbeaten Albuquerque standout Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego returns to competition after a two-year absence when he takes on veteran Wilner Soto, who brings 48 professional fights of experience into the matchup.

Griego will be making his debut at 118 pounds, moving up from the 112-pound division where he has spent most of his career.

The matchup carries additional significance, as Griego has teased that this could be his final fight in his hometown.

Both fighters came in on weight, with Griego and Soto each weighing 118 pounds.

McClain Meets Unbeaten Achesah

The co-main event pits rugged veteran Bryant McClain against unbeaten professional and former nationally ranked amateur Aiseah Achesah.

McClain has built his reputation on being willing to fight in the trenches, while Achesah enters the matchup looking to continue his unbeaten run against one of the more experienced and physical opponents he’s met to date.

Achesah weighed 175.6 pounds, while McClain came in at 173.4.

Medina Looks for Professional Win No. 2

The fighting pride of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Kaleb Medina returns looking to pick up his second professional victory.

Medina is regarded as one of the state’s top young prospects and will face Joseph Salley, who is arriving in town the day before the event.

Medina weighed 143 pounds for the contest.

Lovato and Morales Settle Old Business

Six years after their first meeting, Amanda Lovato and Randee Morales will finally get another opportunity to settle their business inside the ring.

Lovato originally defeated Morales in 2019, but the result was later changed to a no contest, leaving the rivalry without a definitive conclusion.

The rematch is set for 112 pounds, with Morales weighing exactly 112 pounds and Lovato coming in at 112.6.

Gutierrez vs. Gonzalez: MMA Fighters Put Their Boxing Skills to the Test

Two mixed martial artists will put their hands to work when Fit NHB’s Sergio “El Mas Chingon” Gutierrez meets Sandoval Fight Systems’ Santiago Gonzalez.

The matchup provides an interesting test between two fighters more accustomed to the mixed martial arts environment, with both looking to establish who can be the more effective pure pugilist.

Gutierrez weighed 129.8 pounds, while Gonzalez came in at 130.
