Invicta FC Signs Alexa Grasso & Stephanie Eggink
Invicta FC has announced the signings of former XFC Strawweight champion Stephanie “Snowflake” Eggink (4-1) and Xtreme Kombat champion Alexa Grasso, as the promotion continues to rebuild there roster after the announcement that the majority of the Strawweights had signed up for the groundbreaking TUF season 20.
After starting her pro career 1-1 Eggink signed with the XFC defeating Heather Clark (UD), Brianna Van Buren (UD), and Angela Magana (SUB); to become the promotion inaugural Women’s Bantamweight champion. With the loss of a TV contract here in the United States many of the XFC fighters have been released from their contracts.
Hailing from Guadalajara Mexico, Alexa Grasso is (4-0) undefeated with her first 3 wins over Sandra del Rincon, Luoita Hernandez, and Alejandra Alvarez ending by (T)KO in under a minute. Most recently Grasso fought Karina Rodriguez going the distance for the first time and winning by unanimous decision.
One Strawweight staying with Invicta FC is Ashley “Smashley” Cummins (3-2), who has re-sign with the promotion on a 4-fight deal.
It’s expected that all three ladies will be in action later this year.
