Vet Heather Clark Welcome Undefeated Prospect Alexa Grasso to UFC
TUF 20 vet “Hurricane” Heather Clark (7-5) will be welcoming Mexico’s undefeated Alexa Grasso (8-0) to the Octagon, November 5th in Mexico City.
Clark is a member of Syndicate MMA, who I interviewed a few times when she was training here in Albuquerque. Clark is a striking based fighter who has 3 of 5 stoppage wins via submission. At the TUF 20 Finale Clark took a unanimous decision from Bec Rawlings, but will be looking to rebound from a May unanimous decision to undefeated Karolina Kowalkiewic; ending a 2 fight win streak.
Grasso a member of Lobo MMA, has won half her fights via knock out. Grasso is coming off a dominate unanimous decision win, at the end of July, over Jodie Esquibel, in the Invicta FC 18 main event, had been announced as the Invicta FC strawweight number one contender, but has jumped over that position to get her shot in the worlds premier MMA organization. Grasso has nice kicks, good take down defense, and highly educated hands.
