Simon-Zani Title Bout Headlines LFA 36
The LFA Bantamweight title will be on the line at LFA 36, as Ricky Simon (11-1) makes his first title defense against Brazilian Vinicius “The Little Devil” Zani (11-4).
Vancouver, Washington’s, Simon 25 years ole, won his 4th straight at LFA 29 when he dominated Chico Camus for 5 rounds to win the LFA Bantamweight title. Simon has 5 finishes, 4 knock outs and all the finishes have come in the first round. Sao Paulo born and now training out of the BlackHouse in Los Angeles, California, Zani is 30, on a 4 fight win streak, with 3 coming by decision. Zani has 7 finishes 5 have come by knock out.
The co-main event is in the featherweight division with Redland’s Califorina’s, Jamall “Pretty Boy” Emmers (12-3) squaring off with Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil’s, Talison Soares (10-2) . Both have won 3 straight, Emmers have come all by decision, while Soares has a pair of submissions and a decision.
Sherdog is also reporting that Troy Guerro (5-0) will faces Tommy Aaron (5-3) and Herdem Alacabek (3-0) is going to square off with Jonathon Noriega (3-0).
