Mowles vs. Yanez II Headlines LFA 73
Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to The Lone Star State August 2nd for Bantamweight rematch over 4-years in the making.
LFA will be back where it all began The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas, for LFA 73. The main event will see BJJ Black Belt, Levi Mowles (11-4) versus former LFA Title challenger Adrian Yanez (8-3). Mowles won their first meeting at Legacy FC 37 in Houston back in November of 2014, by unanimous decision.
Yanez has won three of his last four fights. The Houston fighter is coming off a January, TKO of well-travelled Warren Stewart,. Yanez has a 75% finishing rate and 66% of his finishes have come by knockout.
Mowles has won five of his last six fights. The 24-year-old has won his last four fights all by rear naked choke. The native of Venus, TX, got back in the win column, picking up his fifth submission victory, when he submitted Ahmet Kayretli at LFA 62.
Also, in a bout between Women’s Flyweight prospects, “All Hail” Hailey Cowan (3-1), who submitted Sarah Click at LFA 63, squares off with Lisa Mauldin (3-1), who beat Kaytlin Neil by split decision at LFA 66.
