The Magician is set to have his next performance at UFC 252
John Dodson is set to face a fellow top 15 ranked opponent at the UFC’s next pay per view event.
The newest addition to UFC 252 will see number 12 ranked John “The Magician” Dodson against number 15 ranked Merab “The Machine” Dvalishvili.
Dodson a two time title challenger at flyweight. In February “The Magician” scored a third round TKO of highly touted prospect Nathaniel Wood. The TUF 14 winner has 12 finishes ten have come by knockout. The 35-year-old has been fighting professionally since 2004.
Dvalishvili is the number 15 ranked contender at 135 lbs. “The Machine” is on a four-fight win streak. The night Dodson beat Wood, is the same night Dvalishvili defeated Casey Kenney. Three weeks ago Dvalishvili won his fourth straight taking down Gustavo Lopez.
UFC 252 is scheduled for August 15th at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
