The Footprint Center in Phoenix Arizona hosts Bellator 273. The headliner of the 11-fight card will see Champion Ryan Bader & interim title holder Valentin Moldavsky battle to unify the Bellator Heavyweight championship.
After eight years on the UFC roster Ryan Bader signed with Bellator MMA. In his first year in the company the Arizona fighter took over the Light-Heavyweight division. Bader then moved up and won the Heavyweight Grand Prix & World Chapionship, becoming a double-champ. While the 205 lbs. title is gone the “Master” is motivated to keep a belt around his waist. Moldavsky is a Fedor protégé who came to Bellator after a stint with Rizin Fighting Federation. The Russian has over a plethora of different stylistic challenges while racking up six wins in the Bellator cage and securing the interim Heavyweight title.
