Holloway vs Allen Headlines UFC Fight Night KC
The Ultimate Fighting Championship is heading
to the home of the Super Bowl champions for a fight night with a pivotal Featherweight encounter.
The five-round main event will see number two ranked contender Max “Blessed” Holloway against number four ranked Arnold “Almighty” Allen.
Saturday April 15 the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri will host UFC Fight Night. It will be first UFC event in the state in the last five years.
The former Featherweight champion, Holloway defended the title three times over his 2 1/2 year reign. Holloway has won two of his last three fights collecting decision wins over Calvin Kattar & Yair Rodriguez.
Allen comes in off consecutive TKO wins over ranked competition. In March Allen stopped Dan Hooker inside the first round. The man known as “Almighty” returned to to action in October scoring a second round TKO over Calvin Kater. The win ran Allen’s record in the octagon to 10-0.
