LFA 157 will see a New Bantamweight Queen Crowned
LFA is returning to the land of 10,000 to crown the promotions second ever Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
The main event of LFA 157 will see two of the worlds top women’s bantamweight prospects Melissa Croden & Jacquline Cavalcanti battling for LFA gold.
LFA 157 is scheduled for Friday April 21st at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in prior Lake Minnesota.
Canada’s Croden comes into the fight off with the momentum of consecutive finishes. In January of 2022 Croden submitted Jackie MacLean by rear naked choke in the first round. In August Croden scored a second round TKO Cornelia Holm to win a regional title.
Cavalcanti hails from Portugal and has the distinction of having has all five of her professional fights take place in different countries. In July of 2022 Cavalcanti went to Abu Dhabi and stopped Yulia Kutsenko with strikes in the first round. She followed up the performance by capturing a title in Spain after stopping Nadia Milijancevoc with ground and pound in the second round.
The co-main event will see unbeaten Richie Miranda against Kegan Gennrich who’s on a three-fight win streak. The feature fight will see Minnesota’s own Bobby Lee a rough a tumble grappler against Brazilian finisher Arthur Estrázulas.
