UFC Announces handful of Fight Night main event
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has shed lite into what the UFC Fight Night schedule will look like through July with five headliners being made official.
A women’s Bantamweight top five rematch is set to headline the UFC’s May 20 Fight Night. Number 2 ranked Raquel Pennington will battle number 5 ranked Irene Aldana. Pennington won a split decision over Aldana in July 2019. Pennington has won five in a row, four coming by decision. Aldana is coming off TKO wins over Yana Santos & Macy Chiasson.
The UFC Fight Night on June 3rd we’ll see a Middleweight main event. Number 10 rate Jack “the Joker” Hermansson against number 13 Brendan “All In” Allen. Hermansson is a grappler with 17 finishes and 11 by
knockout. “The Joker” has collected his last two wins by decision over Edmen Shahbazyan & Chris Curtis. Allen is in a four fight win streak securing wins over Sam Alvey, Krzysztof Jotko, & Andre Muniz by rear naked choke.
The UFC Fight Night on June 17 will be headline buy a top five Middleweight showdown. Number 3 ranked Marvin Vettori will face number 4 ranked Jared Cannonier in about with title implications. Vettori won a decision over Roman Dolidze at UFC 286 while Cannonier won a split decision over Sean Strickland in December.
The UFC Fight Night on June 24th will take place from Jacksonville Florida. The main event is a top 10 Featherweight dual as number 5 ranked Josh Emmett takes in number 9 ranked Ilia Topuria. Emmett has won five of his last six. Beating names like Calvin Kattar, Dan Ige, & Shane Burgos. Topuria has garnered major attention with finishes in his last four wins knocking out Damon Jackson, Ryan Hall, & Jai Herbert.
The UFC Fight Night on July 1st is also set to have a middleweight main event. Number 7 ranked Sean Strickland will collide with Abus Magomedov. Strickland has won 7 of his last 9 fights. Strickland beat Nassourdine Imavov by decision in the first Fight Night of 2023. After his 2018 PFL season. was cut short Magomedov what abroad electing
a pair of submission wins before receiving the call to the UFC. Since a debut knockout win over Dustin Stoltzfus Magomedov has sat idle waiting for a dance partner.
The UFC will also be returning to the O2 in London England for a Fight Night on July 22nd, but no fight s have been announced yet.
